Smile Makeover in Tirana: Designed on Your Face, Not Sold by the Set
A smile makeover is a design problem before it is a dental one. The teeth are the material; the brief is your face. Our makeovers start with photographs, measurements and a digital design that you approve, and only then does anyone decide how many teeth are involved and what they are made of. That order is the difference between a smile that suits you and a set of twenty identical white rectangles. Twenty veneers is 4,000–7,000 euro here, and most cases need fewer than twenty.

The five measurements a design is built on
None of these is cosmetic opinion. They are the reasons a good makeover looks unremarkable in the right way.
- The midline. The line between the two front teeth should follow the centre of the face, not the centre of the teeth you happen to have. Getting this wrong is the single most visible error in cosmetic dentistry.
- Tooth proportion. A front tooth that reads as natural is roughly four units wide to five tall. Cases go wrong when teeth are lengthened to a fashionable shape without the width to carry it.
- The incisal line against the lip. The curve of the tooth edges should echo the curve of your lower lip when you smile. A flat edge across all six front teeth is what makes a smile look manufactured.
- The gum line. How much gum shows, and whether it is level, changes the result more than the ceramic does. Where gum height is the real problem, veneers alone will not solve it, and the plan says so instead of covering it.
- Shade in context. Chosen against your skin, the whites of your eyes and your lower teeth, under daylight. The plan records the code so it can be matched years later.
The parts of a makeover that are not veneers
Most enquiries arrive asking for veneers and most plans contain something else as well. A design is only deliverable if the foundation is sound.
- Teeth that are broken or root-treated take crowns, not veneers. The two often sit side by side in one design, matched by the same ceramist: the material logic is on zirconia crowns.
- Missing teeth are replaced before the design is finalised. There is no point designing a smile around a gap that is about to be filled with an implant, and implant timelines add months, not days.
- The lower teeth are usually whitened rather than covered, so they harmonise with the new upper ceramic at a fraction of the cost: 100–200 euro, and the detail is on teeth whitening.
- A night guard ends every case where the bite is heavy. New ceramic on an unprotected grinding habit is a short-lived investment.
- The design itself is drawn and tried in before preparation, which is the process described on porcelain veneers.
What it costs, and why the count matters more than the price
| Scope | Price in euro |
|---|---|
| Single E-max veneer | 200–350 |
| Zirconia crown where a veneer will not hold | 150–250 |
| Twenty veneers, both visible arches | 4,000–7,000 |
| Whitening of the opposing arch | 100–200 |
| Consultation, photographs, digital design | Free |
Ten veneers priced at the per-veneer figure costs meaningfully less than a twenty-veneer package, and for most smiles it is the correct treatment rather than the cheaper one. A clinic quoting twenty before seeing how far back your smile shows is quoting a product. Worked totals for each count are on veneers cost.
Ask for the design proposal and the tooth count in writing before you accept any figure. If the count changes after you arrive, you have the original document. WhatsApp +355 69 691 1118 to send photographs directly.

FAQ
How white should I go?
Whiter than your natural teeth and not whiter than your eyes is the usual guidance, and it is a judgement made with a mirror in daylight rather than from a shade chart. Very bright shades read as ceramic on camera, which is where most people will see themselves. The mock-up stage exists so you can look at the shade on your own face for a few hours and change your mind at no cost.
What if I do not like the result at the try-in?
Then it goes back to the laboratory. The try-in appointment exists for exactly this and nothing is bonded until you have seen it, in daylight, with your lips at rest and smiling. Shape, length and shade can all be adjusted at that point. Changing them after bonding means remaking the units, which is why the sequence puts every decision before the cement.
Can a makeover close gaps between my teeth?
Ceramic can close small spaces and reshape the contacts so they look even. It cannot move teeth, so a wide space or a crowded arch is a different problem with a different answer, and a plan that grinds teeth back to fake the alignment is one to refuse. We will tell you plainly if what you want needs tooth movement that we do not provide.
Is a makeover reversible?
Where enamel is removed it is not, and that is stated in the consent you sign. This is the reason the design is agreed on photographs and a mock-up before any preparation, and the reason we will decline to prepare healthy teeth for a design we believe will not hold up. Cases that need no preparation exist and they are identified from the scan.
How long will it look like this?
The ceramic holds its colour and surface for many years; the variables are your bite, your cleaning at the margins, and whether a guard is worn if you grind. Your own gums and the shade of any uncovered teeth continue to change, so a makeover is maintained rather than finished. The written guarantee runs 5 years with its conditions listed.
