Veneers cost: the price per tooth, and the totals for 6, 8, 10 and 20

An E-max veneer costs 200–350 euro each at Medicus Molaris, and because veneers are priced per tooth, your total is that figure multiplied by the number of teeth that actually show. Veneers cost in Albania is therefore a question with two halves, and the second half is the one that moves thousands of euro: how many veneers your smile needs. The usual honest answer is eight or ten, not twenty.

Send three photographs: a relaxed smile, a wide smile, and your upper teeth from below with the lips retracted. You will be told how many teeth need a veneer for the result you are describing, and what that comes to.

How many veneers you actually need

Stand in front of a mirror and smile the way you smile in a photograph. Count the teeth that are visible. For most faces that is eight in the upper arch, ten if the smile is wide, and for some people six is the whole visible set. Those are the teeth a veneer plan should cover.

Twenty veneers means ten upper and ten lower, front teeth to second premolars, top and bottom. It is a real treatment and the right one for a mouth where the lower teeth are also worn, discoloured or uneven and show when you talk. It is the wrong one for a patient whose lower teeth never appear, and quoting it as a default is how a €2,000 case becomes a €6,000 case.

We build the number from your own photographs and confirm it with a digital mock-up before a single tooth is touched. How the preparation itself is done, and how little enamel it takes, is described on porcelain veneers. Where a tooth is too damaged or too dark for a veneer, the plan says crown and prices it as a crown, which is the distinction worked through on veneers or crowns.

The totals

Veneers How the total is built Typically covers
6 200–350 euro × 6 The four front teeth and the two beside them, a narrow smile
8 200–350 euro × 8 The standard upper visible set
10 200–350 euro × 10 A wide upper smile, out to the second premolars
16 200–350 euro × 16 Upper eight and lower eight
20 4,000–7,000 euro, quoted as a case Ten upper and ten lower

There is no bulk rate and no bulk penalty: the twenty-veneer line is the per-veneer price multiplied out. A clinic that offers a large discount for a bigger number is giving you a reason to have more teeth prepared than your face needs, and that is the wrong incentive to introduce into this decision.

What the per-veneer price includes

** Your photographs and a scan are used to design the shape and proportion before anything is prepared, and you see it as an image and often as a try-in you can wear for an hour.

** Prepared teeth are never left exposed. Temporary veneers go on the same day and stay until the E-max units are fitted.

** A thin guard worn at night, supplied with every veneer case, because the most common way a veneer chips is a grinding habit the patient did not know they had.

** Choosing a colour is done in daylight, against your skin and the whites of your eyes, not from a chart under a surgery lamp. Shades that photograph as a block of white are easy to make and hard to live with.

Not included: flights, the hotel, and any treatment that has to happen before the veneers, such as a root canal or a crown on a tooth that is beyond a veneer. Those lines appear separately on the plan.

This page currently states only E-max, which is what the list carries]]

To get the number of veneers pinned down before you commit to anything, send your photographs on WhatsApp at +355 69 691 1118. You will get a count, a total and, if the honest answer is that you need fewer than you asked for, that too.

The UK and Turkey on the same tooth

Where Porcelain or E-max veneer, each
Tirana, this clinic 200–350 euro, E-max
United Kingdom, private fees £500–1,000
Turkey, published clinic ranges €150–400

The UK comparison is simple arithmetic and it does not need a sales pitch: eight veneers at UK private fees is a multiple of eight veneers here, with a flight and five nights inside the difference.

Turkey is the comparison that needs the material read carefully. The published Turkish range starts below ours, and part of that gap is real cost and part of it is what the word “veneer” is describing. A €150 unit is frequently a full crown, which means the tooth was reduced all the way round rather than shaved on the front. That is a different operation with a different consequence for the tooth, and telling the two apart from a quote is the whole subject of veneers in Turkey compared with Albania.

FAQ

Is it cheaper to do only the top teeth?

Yes, and for most patients it is also the correct plan, not a compromise. If your lower teeth do not show when you talk or smile, veneering them buys nothing visible. What matters is the match: if the uppers are made much brighter than the lowers, the difference can read oddly in photographs. That is a shade decision rather than a reason to treat sixteen teeth, and it is made during the mock-up when both arches are in front of you.

Why do some clinics quote per arch instead of per tooth?

Because it is simpler to sell and it hides the count. A per-arch price gives the clinic the decision about how many teeth to prepare, and the incentive runs the wrong way. Per tooth means you can see the number, argue with it, and reduce it. Ask any clinic quoting per arch how many units are in the arch and what happens to the price if you want fewer.

How long do E-max veneers last?

Published survival data for bonded ceramic veneers is good at ten years and still respectable beyond it, provided the bond line is clean, the tooth underneath is healthy and grinding is controlled. In practice the veneer rarely wears out; what ends it is a chip from an unguarded grinding habit, or decay starting at the margin of a tooth that was not being cleaned. The written guarantee here runs 5 years.

Can I have veneers if one front tooth has a filling or a root canal?

Usually yes for a filling, if enough enamel remains for the veneer to bond to, because a veneer holds by adhesion rather than by grip. A root-treated front tooth is a different case: it is often darker from the inside and more brittle, and a crown may be the more durable answer for that one tooth while its neighbours take veneers. Mixing the two in one smile is normal and invisible when the lab makes them together. The smile makeover page shows how a mixed case is planned.

Use the quote form with your three photographs and a note of what you want changed: colour, shape, gaps or wear. The dentist who will treat you replies with the tooth count, the total and the mock-up plan by e-mail within 24 hours.
