All-on-4 cost per arch, and what decides where in the range you land

All-on-4 costs 5,000–7,000 euro per arch at Medicus Molaris, and that figure is for the finished job: four implants, the temporary bridge you wear home, and the final bridge fitted on your second trip. All on 4 cost in Albania is quoted per arch rather than per mouth, so a patient replacing both jaws is buying the same line twice. Where inside the range your arch lands is decided by three things, and all three are known before you fly.

Unit of pricing
One arch, upper or lower. Both arches is the same line twice
Implants
Four per arch, angled at the back so the available bone is used without grafting
Bridges
A temporary bridge fitted during the first trip, a final bridge on the second
Visits
5 to 7 days for surgery and the temporary, then 4 to 5 days after 4 to 6 months
Price per arch
5,000–7,000 euro
Six implants instead
6,500–9,000 euro per arch, where the bone or the bite calls for it
Guarantee
5 years on the fixtures, 5 on the bridge

Send a panoramic X-ray, or a CBCT scan if you have one, and say whether it is the upper jaw, the lower, or both. You will receive the arch priced as a single total with every line shown, and the two travel windows marked on a calendar.

Seven things the figure already covers

  • The extractions, where teeth are still in place on that arch and have to come out on the day of surgery.
  • Four titanium fixtures, placed to a CBCT plan rather than judged at the chair.
  • The immediate temporary bridge, fitted within the same visit so you do not spend the healing months without teeth.
  • The final bridge, made and fitted on the second trip.
  • CBCT planning and the surgical guide where one is used.
  • All review appointments during both stays in Tirana, including the bite adjustments in the days after surgery.
  • The written guarantee and the aftercare instructions, in your language.

The surgery itself, the angled placement and what the healing months feel like are described on All-on-4 dental implants.

Read that list against any quote you are comparing. A headline full-arch price that turns out to cover the surgery and the temporary only is the single most common surprise in this treatment, and it is discussed in detail on All-on-4 in Turkey compared with Albania.

What pushes an arch to the top of the range

** A bridge of acrylic teeth on a titanium frame sits at the lower end. A monolithic zirconia bridge, which resists wear and staining far better and is the choice for a heavy bite, sits at the upper end. This single decision accounts for most of the spread.

** An arch that is already toothless needs no extractions. An arch with eight loose teeth needs eight, plus the shaping of the ridge afterwards.

** All-on-4 is designed to avoid grafting by tilting the two back implants, and in most arches it succeeds. Where the CBCT shows there is not enough bone even for the tilted position, the plan changes: either a graft is added or six implants are used instead, and the cost moves with it. What that decision turns on is set out in All-on-4 or All-on-6.

What you are buying Price (EUR)
One arch, four implants, temporary and final bridge 5,000–7,000
One arch on six implants 6,500–9,000
Bone graft at a single site, where the plan needs it 200–400
Sinus lift, upper arch, where the plan needs it 500–800
Consultation, CBCT review and written plan Free

Both arches in one treatment

Doing the upper and lower together is common and it makes clinical sense: the bite is built as one unit from the start, instead of a new upper arch being fitted to an old lower one and then re-adjusted a year later. It also means one set of flights and one set of healing months rather than two.

The price is two arches, each at the per-arch figure. There is no volume price on this page, because a discount that appears on a full-mouth quote usually means one of the two arches was quoted high to begin with.

How payment is staged

Stage When
Nothing on the written plan The plan and the exact quote are sent before any payment
First instalment At the first visit, covering the surgery and the temporary bridge
Second instalment At the second visit, on fitting the final bridge

To see the total for your own arch rather than the range, send your X-ray on WhatsApp at +355 69 691 1118 with one line about your bite: whether you grind, and whether you have worn a denture. Those two facts change the bridge material, and the bridge material is most of the price.

The UK and Turkey on the same treatment

Where All-on-4, per arch
Tirana, this clinic 5,000–7,000 euro, temporary and final bridge included
United Kingdom, private fees £12,000–25,000
Turkey, published clinic ranges €3,000–5,000

The UK figure makes the decision for most patients on its own; even at the top of our range and with two return flights and nine nights of hotel, an arch treated in Tirana is a fraction of a private UK arch.

Turkey is the comparison that needs care, because the published Turkish range sits below ours and a lower number is a real argument. What has to be compared alongside it is what the number contains: whether the final zirconia bridge is in it or only the temporary, whether the second trip is in it, and whether one surgeon carries the case from surgery to final fit. When those are added to a package figure the gap narrows, and sometimes closes. When they are not, the two prices are not describing the same treatment.

FAQ

Is the temporary bridge something I can actually live on for months?

Yes, with a diet that respects it. The temporary is a full set of teeth screwed to the implants, not a denture, and it looks like teeth from the first day. It is made of acrylic, so it is not as strong as the final bridge: crusty bread, ice and hard nuts are the things that break it. Patients describe the healing months as normal life with a short list of exceptions. Its job is to protect the implants while they fuse and to let your gums settle into the shape the final bridge will match.

Why is there a second trip at all?

Because the final bridge has to be made against healed gums and integrated implants, and neither exists on the day of surgery. A bridge made in week one would fit a mouth that no longer exists by month four: the gum shrinks as it heals and the bite settles. Clinics that promise a final zirconia bridge in a single week are either fitting it to unsettled tissue or the bridge they are fitting is the temporary described by another name.

Does All-on-4 mean I never need a denture again?

It means teeth that are screwed in and that you do not take out. They are cleaned in place, with a small brush and a water flosser, around and under the bridge. The bridge itself can be unscrewed by the dentist at a check-up for a deep clean, which is by design. You are not going back to something that lifts when you eat.

What happens if an implant fails while I am at home?

You send photographs the same day and, if it is a fixture rather than a gum irritation, you come back. Under the written guarantee the fixture and its replacement surgery are covered for 5 years, subject to the check-ups listed on the document. Four implants carrying a bridge also means the bridge is usually still usable while a single site is being dealt with, which is not the case with a bridge on two.

Use the quote form with your X-ray, a photograph of your smile and a note of which arch. The dentist who will treat you plans the case and you receive the arch total, the bridge material and the two travel windows by e-mail within 24 hours. What can and cannot change after that is set out in how your quote works.
